I’m a huge fan of Evernote, the best productivity app on the planet at least for me. Evernote is not just a place to save notes. Sometimes your notes are texts, sometimes they are pictures, sometimes they are a checklist, files, etc. Who know what else, but Evernote can help you to save these things easily for the lifetime.
I’m using Evernote to save web articles, PDF guides, even bills and receipts. Yes, if you are an iOS user for future reference, you can save iTunes receipts to Evernote.
You won’t need to do that manually, but a good IFTTT recipe can help you to do this automatically. Here we go.
1. Go to IFTTT
IFTTT is a web-based service that allows users to create chains of simple conditional statements. Sign up for IFTTT or sign in if you already have an account.
2. Use this Recipe iTunes Receipts to Evernote
3. Authorize your Gmail and Evernote Accounts
4. Run the Recipe
That’s it. From now, Evernote will automatically save the receipts receive from the email [email protected]. All the receipts will save to the notebook “Receipts” in default. You can change the notebook name as per your interest.
